KGIL Wins Two Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards

6/30/2026

KGI Life has won the Green Leadership Award and the Investment in People Award at the 2026 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA). The awards win recognized the Company's progress in low-carbon transition, responsible finance, and sustainable workplace development, and marks continued international recognition of how KGI Life connects its core financial business with the needs of the environment, employees, and society.

KGI Life has received the Green Leadership Award for two years in a row. The Company's Board of Directors serves as its highest climate governance body, and low-carbon transition metrics are linked to the President's performance evaluation. Together with its parent company, KGI Financial Holdings, KGI Life has developed science-based targets under the SBTi framework; the targets passed validation in 2025, confirming that decarbonization pathways for both its investment portfolio and its own operations meet international scientific standards.

In green finance, KGI Life embeds sustainability in investment decisions through pre-investment screening, internal carbon pricing, and climate risk assessment. Its green and sustainable investment balance reached NT$44.85 billion in 2025, up 44.4% from the 2022 baseline. The headquarters building obtained ISO 14068-1 carbon neutrality verification in 2025, complemented by renewable electricity, energy-saving equipment, paperless services, and circular economy initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of its services.

On the people side, KGI Life links its four strategic pillars of digital, innovation, sustainability, and finance. Smart office platforms, agile teams, and an AI coaching program lifted average training hours per employee by more than 20% in 2025. The latest employee survey recorded a 99% participation rate, with engagement scores rising for five consecutive years.

Upholding its philosophy of "We Share We Link", KGI Life will continue connecting its financial expertise, employee action, and social needs to pursue shared prosperity for business and society.
