In order to raise awareness of climate change and extreme weather events, China Life and China Development Financial responded to Earth Hour launched by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) by going dark for one hour from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on March 25. The headquarters and branches turned off all non-essential lights, a concrete action to prove their determination to reduce carbon emissions. The Company aims to exert its influence and call on the public that each one of us, regardless of age, gender, and background, is capable of and is responsible for changing the Earth for the better under climate change. We should change our Earth-consuming lifestyle and live a low-carbon life to safeguard the future of us and the next generation.
