According to statistics from the National Police Agency, fraud-related losses from January to April 2025 have already reached NT$30.4 billion. As fraud continues to impact society, financial institutions have become a critical line of defense. In support of the government’s anti-fraud policy, KGI Life Chairman Alan Wang led a team of agency managers to launch an educational campaign at DaLi Elementary School in Yilan. Through this initiative, the company aimed to instill fraud awareness among young students, cultivating them as future “anti-fraud ambassadors.”
The event featured interactive games designed to teach children fraud prevention knowledge in a fun and engaging way while reinforcing awareness of the 165 Anti-Fraud Hotline. The children were also encouraged to bring these lessons home, helping to spread anti-fraud awareness within their families.
KGI Life has actively expanded its outreach efforts in fraud prevention. The company has held over 80 anti-fraud seminars to date, targeting key populations such as the elderly, persons with disabilities, economically disadvantaged groups, new immigrants, and youth. It also released bilingual anti-fraud videos to further raise public awareness and strengthen response capabilities.
KGI Life remains committed to addressing emerging social risks and broadening its anti-fraud network. By promoting the “Financial-Police Joint Defense” mechanism, the company is building a comprehensive fraud prevention system and taking concrete actions to fulfill the insurance industry’s role in safeguarding financial security for the public.
