China Life's long-term contribution to sustainability continues to be recognized by the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA). In 2023, China Life won a total of six awards, including “Sustainability Comprehensive Performance Award - Top 100 Taiwanese Sustainable Corporates Award” and “Corporate Sustainability Reports Award - Platinum Award in the Finance and Insurance Category”, which is the ninth consecutive year of winning the Sustainability Reports Award, indicating continued recognition on China Life’s promotion of sustainability and disclosure of information. In the "Outstanding Sustainability Achievement Award”, the Company was also honored in four subcategories, including “Social Inclusion Leadership Award”, “Talent Development Leadership Award”, “Information Security Leadership Award” and “Innovation and Growth Leadership Award”.

This year, China Life was again honored with Taiwan’s Top 100 Taiwanese Sustainable Corporates, demonstrating its outstanding achievements in corporate governance, climate action and deepening social inclusion. In response to the international focus on climate risk management, this year’s Sustainability Report has been expanded to include a column on climate change response and sustainable environmental vision. The application of scenario analysis has been expanded to include a complete disclosure of the financial impacts of climate risk on the Company itself and its upstream and downstream resources, earning the Company the Platinum Award, the highest level in the Sustainability Reports Award.
