In response to rising demand among students for meaningful career exploration, KGI Life launched its 2025 summer internship program with a focus on cross-disciplinary learning, digital innovation, and sustainable development. Open to students beyond traditional finance majors, the program features one-on-one mentorship and opportunities for advancing into KGI Life’s management associates’ program—offering a direct path from classroom to career.
Interns participated in group-wide training sessions such as “AI Trends and KGI Applications,” gaining insight into how AI moves from strategy to execution. They also engaged in hands-on projects in data analysis, automation, and agile project management. Beyond technical skills, the program included courses like “The What, Why and How of ESG” and “Regional Revitalization in Action,” allowing students to explore sustainable finance and community impact from a life insurance perspective.
KGI Life integrated social impact into the internship experience by forming a student-led “Anti-Fraud Volunteer Team,” which co-created an educational dance to teach the elderly financial safety in an engaging way. Through a learn-by-doing approach, interns experienced how insurance plays a role in safeguarding society. KGI Life continues to foster young talent with its “We Share We Link” philosophy and has received multiple awards recognizing its excellence in talent development and workplace happiness.
