KGI Life Launched Taiwan’s First Insurance Rights Forum for People with Disabilities

Jun 25, 2025

KGI Life has pioneered a new initiative in Taiwan by organizing the first-ever series of forums tailored to individuals with disabilities, aiming to explain insurance customers' rights and interests. Collaborating with diverse advocacy groups, the company hosted dedicated sessions for people with disabilities. Through direct dialogue with KGI’s underwriting and product planning teams, participants gained practical insurance knowledge and conceptions, marking a major step in promoting financial inclusion.

With over 1.23 million individuals with disabilities in Taiwan, KGI Life recognizes the need for more accessible financial education and services. Upholding the principle of “empathy and equity,” the company partnered with various organizations to deliver tailored explanations of life insurance types, underwriting processes, and customer rights and interests. Real-time sign language and captioning services were provided to ensure full participation and understanding. The company also offered Braille policies for the visually impaired and acquired a five-star certification for its accessible customer service center in Taipei, in hopes of providing more accessible services for people with different needs.

Moving forward, KGI Life will remain committed to cross-sector collaboration, service innovation, and talent development in line with “We Share We Link”, striving to build a more inclusive and sustainable society through friendly financial services.
