These accolades reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to climate action and social inclusion, marking its third consecutive year of international recognition at AREA.
In its environmental initiatives, KGI Life has implemented solar energy systems, promoted green electricity procurement, and launched a food waste recycling program. By the end of 2024, its total green and sustainable investments had grown by 45.7% compared to 2022. The company also actively engages with high-carbon industries to accelerate portfolio decarbonization, aiming to achieve net-zero emissions across all assets by 2045.
On the social front, KGI Life is the first financial institution in Taiwan to launch inclusive finance programs for new immigrants. These initiatives include multilingual services, financial literacy education, anti-fraud training, and career support for both new residents and their children.
