KGI Life Volunteers Promote Fraud Prevention and Donate Supplies in Remote Areas

Mar 8, 2024

In recent years, fraud crimes have been on the rise with diverse tactics. KGI Life (formerly China Life), upholding its mission to protect customer assets, sent its volunteer group to tribes and remote areas several times. They have joined hands with the police departments and local senior institutions to promote financial fraud prevention to the elderly.

The Lunar New Year period is always a peak time for fraud crimes. Due to urban-rural disparities, limited information and lack of resources, the indigenous people may easily become targets for fraud syndicates. Preventing the elderly and vulnerable groups from the fraud syndicates is an important part of KGI Life’s efforts to protect customer rights. To help the indigenous people improve their awareness of fraud prevention, the KGI Life volunteer group, led by senior management, visited Rongan tribe in Taian Township, Miaoli County, to hold a “Love Winter Warming Event”.

In collaboration with Dahu Precinct of Miaoli County Police Department and several civil groups, this event conducted anti-fraud knowledge promotion for tribal residents, so as to enhance their financial literacy. In addition, the volunteer group brought winter supplies to the elderly participants, and visited bedridden elders to give them love supplies, allowing the elders to feel the warmth in harsh winter. KGI Life will continue to use the power of friendly financial services to help the elderly achieve the vision of ensuring physical, psychological and financial safety. KGI Life will implement the popularization of financial knowledge and empowerment of diverse groups, and strive towards the goal of being the most recommended and trustworthy life insurance company.
