KGIL continues promoting employment equality and financial friendly services for new residents. The Company has proactively committed resources to nurture new resident talents. The goal is to build an inclusive, friendly, and fair workplace.
According to the survey conducted by the Ministry of the Interior, only 40% of new residents has covered by commercial insurance. Language barrier and professional insurance jargons prevent this group from acquiring the information they needed. Furthermore, new residents’ understanding of insurance is often weak and their coverage is relatively insufficient. Most new residents in Taiwan are 35-54 years old, a golden age for career development. KGIL has cultivated middle-aged new residents, the second generation of new residents, and interpreters with the hope that they can bridge the communication for their community and convey correct insurance knowledge. The Company has financially backed these cultivation plans to help new residents to achieve their career goals. According to KGIL’s president, Yu-Ling Kuo, the Company values talent diversity and welcomes new residents and their descent to join the Company. A diverse agent team understands demands from diverse groups and therefore provides services cater to their needs.
The Company understands that diversity and inclusion are a foundation for social progress and a key to a business’s sustainable development. In the future, KGIL will continue to commit to helping new resident achieve financial security and stability and settle down in Taiwan. The initiative aligns with SDG 10: Reduced inequality and SDG 8: Decent growth and economic growth put forward by the United Nations. We strive to be the warm guardian of the diverse society.
