With the care for the society in mind, KGIL has incorporated social participation and financial friendliness into our vision and formed a new charity partnership, bringing happiness and stability to the underprivileged groups. The independence of the mentally challenged and decent aging for the elderly are two top of mind issues. In order to help the Maria Foundation to build a retirement home for the elderly, the Company sponsored “2024 Running for Charity” event held by the Foundation. On September 9, senior executive vice president, Winston Yung attended the press conference of the running event and, along with other endorsers, encouraged people to participate with passion and run for charity.
According to SVP Winston, running for charity is more than just an event, it is a relay of love. Unlike the traditional charity method in which businesses single-handedly provide resources, KGIL’s charity partnership links partners, employees, and policyholders together and allows each one involved to participate in. Participation of runner supports and contributes to social charity. By working with the society, businesses can expand the inclusive value of the life insurance sector and create co-prosperity.
The Company cares and supports the underprivileged groups. In addition to collaborating with multiple charity and business partners, KGIL has long worked with municipalities across Taiwan to promote microinsurance by donating insurance premium. Therefore, KGIL has received recognition from the competent authority for nine years in a row and was awarded “Microinsurance Promotion - Silver” in the ninth Insurance Excellence Prize. KGIL will continue to implement the visions of financial inclusion and bring more hope and happiness to the society. We will continue working toward the goal of “the most recommended and trustworthy life insurance company.”
