At the “2023 Digital Financial Award” ceremony (Oct. 23), China Life was awarded the “Digital Inclusion Award” for distinguished financial inclusion after enhancing financial knowledge of the elderly and vulnerable through digital means.
Based on the digital habits of the elderly, China Life launched the “Financial Knowledge Training for the Elderly” initiative which comprises “Insurance Lessons”, “Simplified Insurance Descriptions”, and “Learn as You Age”, making use of online tools and digital channels, e.g. one-click share button on Youtube, Facebook, Line, etc. to simplify social media information sharing for the elderly. Moreover, a three-pronged promotional approach is used to enhance financial knowledge, which has been well received by the elderly.
China Life continues to deepen, enhance, and optimize its financial inclusion services in fulfilling its social responsibilities as an insurance company, aiming to become “A Financial Guardian to the Elderly” and extending its reach to helping out the vulnerable, ultimately achieving financial inclusion and establishing a social safety net for all.
