KGI Life has become the sole insurance company to win the "Best Business Transformation Innovation Award" at the "2025 Digital Singularity Awards", a leading indicator of digital innovation in Taiwan. This accolade recognizes KGI Life's "SMART Operation", an innovative AI-collaborative operational transformation model that embodies the brand spirit of "We Share We Link" to usher in a new era of human-machine collaboration.

Traditional life insurance operations are rigorous and rely heavily on professional experience. KGI Life's "SMART Operation" redefines this by integrating four core AI application scenarios—"Eye, Ear, Mouth, and Brain"—into sales, policy services, and operations. Yu-Ling Kuo, President of KGI Life, stated that "SMART Operation" enhances efficiency and reduces errors through human-machine collaboration, allowing employees to focus on serving customers and delivering a superior insurance experience.

The "Mouth" application features the "Audio Recording and Playback Assistance System for the Elderly," the first of its kind approved by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC). It ensures consistent information disclosure for senior citizens, reinforcing financial inclusion. The "Brain" component serves as a smart assistant for underwriting, claims, and sales, consolidating over 1,000 internal regulations and knowledge bases to accelerate decision-making.

Additionally, the "Eye" application uses the "Policyholder Consent Image Recognition Model" to prevent signing errors on critical illness product consent forms. The "Ear" application utilizes an on-premise large language model (LLM) to generate meeting minutes efficiently while ensuring data security.

KGI Life has also established comprehensive "Responsible AI" governance norms, leading the industry in aligning with the FSC's core principles.
