KGIL Volunteers Promote Fraud Prevention in Indigenous Area

Dec 18, 2024

To prevent fraud prevention, the first line of defense is to enhance financial literacy through financial education. To make financial education more accessible and prevent indigenous groups from being targeted by scam groups, KGIL went to indigenous tribe to promote fraud prevention and hold seminar to teach them about financial knowledge. The Company encouraged agents with indigenous background to go back to the tribe to help with promotion and seminar, leveraging close relationships between communities to engage more indigenous people to learn how to identify and prevent fraud.

Employees formed a volunteer group and headed to an indigenous tribe in Fuxing, Taoyuan to share tips on how to prevent from being scammed by the new tactics. During the seminar, volunteers shared fun case scenarios and interacted with indigenous people through prize quiz to remind them about these potential high risks in daily life. Furthermore, our volunteers also taught them how to evaluate their demands when taking out policies.

KGIL will continue adhering to the core values of treating customers fairly to respond to diverse demands from diverse groups. In addition to providing comprehensive products and services, the Company is committed to helping strengthen financial resilience of indigenous households through the enhancement of their insurance coverage and financial literacy. We want to do our part in building a friendly and fair environment and make contribution toward the vision of an inclusive and sustainable society.
