Fraud has become rampant in Taiwan recently and tricks used by scam groups are evolving. With the mission of safeguarding the asset of our clients in mind, KGIL has been proactive in promoting fraud prevention.

KGIL has been working with the Criminal Investigation Bureau to promote anti-fraud know-hows among customer service representatives and to help them understand various new fraud tricks and the operations of suspicious account alert center. The goal is to improve anti-fraud awareness and knowledge of customer service representatives so that they can stay alert and actively approach customers to minimize their risk of asset loss.

Chen Xiao-Ying from Tainan customer service center is the example of active customer care. Because of her professional knowledge, she was able to detect suspicious signs and advised policyholders to report to the police. Days after, the policyholder visited the counter to thank her in person. Thanks to her insistence, she successfully safeguarded NT$1.5 million and helped the police arrest scammers. She received recognition from the National Police Agency under the Ministry of the Interior for her effort in stopping fraud, the only one in the insurance sector to have such honor.

KGIL will continue to fulfill its responsibilities as a financial gatekeeper and devote effort to prevent fraud across each business node. We want to contribute to public financial safety and spare no effort in committing to the prosperity of our customers.
