KGI Life has further strengthened its sustainability governance by expanding procurement from social innovation organizations, embodying its “We Share, We Link” brand spirit. At the “2025 Buying Power Social Innovation Products and Services Procurement Awards,” organized by the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, KGI Life received the highest honor—the Excellence Leadership Award. In 2025, its social innovation procurement exceeded NT$88 million, supported by collaborations with multiple social innovation partners. This marks nine consecutive years of national-level recognition, and the company has now secured the top honor for the fourth time, demonstrating long-term, institutionalized momentum in social innovation procurement to create a sustainable, virtuous cycle.
In recent years, KGI Life has encouraged suppliers to adopt innovative operating models that respond to social and environmental challenges, while also actively developing promising social enterprises to build a cross-industry ecosystem. Collaboration spans printing, information services, food and produce, and corporate gifts, turning social innovation procurement from a niche purchase category into a supply-chain strategy that boosts sustainability resilience across industries. Through supplier participation, the procurement ecosystem is gradually forming a network of social value that deepens and broadens corporate sustainability governance.
KGI Life’s partners also contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals across climate action, regional development, and employment. Examples include printers using eco-friendly inks, FSC-certified paper, and energy-saving equipment; cybersecurity partners strengthening engineering and system security; gift suppliers purchasing products from sheltered workshops to support stable, inclusive employment; and agricultural suppliers for employee cafeteria developing mechanized greenhouse farming to increase output and reduce environmental impacts.
KGI Life will continue expanding the influence of social innovation procurement, enhancing management mechanisms, and strengthening ESG engagement across its suppliers to advance shared value and long-term sustainable co-prosperity.
