China Life has long supported innovative social enterprises and has worked with them in different ways. In 2023, China Life was honored with the 1st place of Buying Power Award. This award was established to encourage businesses to procure products or services from innovative social enterprises. The Company has received this national recognition 7 years in a row. China Life uses stringent procurement review to manage suppliers with aims of amplifying the benefits of green consumption and the synergy of environmental protection. From 2016 to 2022, the total amount of green procurement has exceeded NT$ 308 million. The Company was recognized by the Ministry of Environment under the Executive Yuan as an “outperforming unit for promoting green procurement and consumption” in 2022. For office equipment and supplies, we only select products with green certifications, for example, eco or energy label.
