Sep 7, 2022

According to the latest statistics released by the National Health Insurance Administration, the elders aged 65 and above account for 39.8% of medical expenses of health insurance, a 4.7% increase compared with the same period last year. Furthermore, according to the Ministry of the Interior, average life expectancy in Taiwan in 2021 was 80.9 years. This number indicates an upward trend of our life expectancy and medical expenses of the elderly are increasing annually. In response to this trend, China Life collaborated with Taipei Medical University to launch “Professional Health Service Certification”. This certification program invites authorities to share medical knowledge and the latest health information with our agents, so that they can expand their knowledge and skills to become a “Health Care Promotion Ambassador”. These ambassadors can answer questions related to medical care and satisfy demands for customers. China Life said that, in the second half of this year, “Professional Health Service Certification” courses will be held at different locations, aiming to cultivate 300 ambassadors and build a health safety net for retirees to enjoy a carefree life.
